OOMPA LOOMPA
Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing well. Today I bring you the story of the OOMPA LOOMPAs. The scene, Basic Training. DS (drill sgt) Bosier was raining terror on us poor basic trainees......Now as Im typing this I realize I cant remember the specifics of how it all started, lol. Memorial Services
Well...it was a cold, windy and rainy spring day in New England. I, in my infinite wisdom, chose the beach as our location. We had an honor guard present to give full honors. After Father Ray spoke, they played Taps and did the rifly volley. I cried, my mom cried, I think pretty much everyone was crying. Walter 101
This is my 1st blog, actually my 1st ever. I cal it Walter 101 because I learned so much from P. I figured Id share the memories with everyone.
So one day P and I are on the way home. He puts this cd in the player and turns the volume up. Next thing I know GUNS N ROSES is blasting out of the radio at a head turning volume level. Walter Alexis Padilla
In Loving Memory
Passed away suddenly on April 1, 2007.
A loving son, brother, father and boyfriend,
He had an infectious smile, a wicked sense of humor
And loved to make others laugh.
An Iraq war veteran
He served his country honorably for nine years.
His loss is keenly felt by everyone who knew him.
He leaves behind his parents, Walter Padilla and Carmen Sierra,
Both of Puerto Rico:
His son Jerai, of Puerto Rico,
His siblings, Yania and Walter of Connecticut;
His niece, Alixa; his girlfriend Mia and her son Dylan,
And a host of aunts, uncles and cousins
To cherish his memory.
